Lenovo announce Y27g 27" Curved 144Hz G-Sync Monitor

Lenovo have announced a new Y27g 27" Curved 144Hz G-Sync Monitor which uses a VA panel, has a built in USB 3.0 hub and has a height adjustable stand.

Fair play to Lenovo they are really trying hard to appeal to every one. I actually expected that monitor to be far cheaper than it is tbh. They do some banging value laptops and tablets.

However I still don't see the point of curved screens, unless you sit with your head within the curve so it fills your peripheral vision which this obviously wouldn't. Maybe when they are wrap around will I sit up and take notice but I just don't get how they can change anything using normal viewing distances.

Yeah, this is a 27" 16:9 monitor. The curve makes absolutely no sense...
