Leaked AMD review guide reveals AMD's Ryzen 9 7950X3D's gaming performance

but why?

The problem here is that no-one needs 300fps, even if you're serious about your games 144hz is the most common top refresh rate. They're fighting over numbers that are miniscule and make no difference in games.

I totally understand the lameness after all the hype, but realistically, why not release these? Why not add the performance even if it's only 5%? It doesn't take away from the perfectly good CPUs of the non-X3D variants, and Intel still has good chips too. They're pushing for more because they can. Consumers can still choose not to waste their money on these.

if i was head of AMDs marketing i would only show titles that are very cache sensitive.

i am not a big gamer so i don´t know which games that would be. :)

but i know nvidia would pump out 700watt GPU´s if that is needed to have the fastest GPU on the market. just for bragging rights.

so i don´t see why AMD should not release these CPU´s to brag about having the fastest gaming CPU.
even when it is only 5% faster on average.
