Yes but that's because they were a specialty card. The 5 series at first were nothing but ATI cards with stickers on, with the same coolers. Right from day one the 460 was different.

If the 460 truly was as amazing and incredible as some think why are they so easy to get hold of?

It's certainly not because Nvidia are making more of them than ATI would have made of the 5 series. I mean, it could be that too little too late really was too late and most had already bought ATI cards and are now refusing to buy anything else.

Ho hum, either way we shall find out in time. I just wonder if Nvidia have managed to actually clear any of their debt with the 4 series.
