LCD Display Help

I know you just read the title and said WTF, it is an easy install but....

I picked up one of the displays and when I plug it all in the system turns on, then off, then back on and blows the fuse.

This happens as soon as I plug power into the back of the unit. Any idea? The cable will only go on one way and when I look at the way the wires are lined up all it looks like they are the same on both sides. Does anyone have a wiring guide so I can make sure everything is connected correctly?

Also, is there a manual on installing the LCD Display?

I thought intructions come with the display?

There could possibly be a short somewhere along the cable or on the display module which is running back to the control board causing it to blow the fuse...

Test and provide results

I also later purchased the Mach II display after discovering that the USB drivers where only 32-bit and did not work with my XP Pro x64 based system. Also, I did not receive anything other than the device – no documentation..

To start trouble-shooting, remove the display and test the complete system. The system should not “spontaneously” start up, but remain off until you press the reset-on/off button on your case. After the Mach II reaches approximately -33oC, the computer (motherboard, drives, pump, fans, etc) should then start up. If this doesn’t happen exactly like this, the setup in general is not properly done.

Waiting for results ….

Everything works fine, just as it should before I plug in the LCD. After I plug it in I get the problems that I stated above leading to a blown fuse.

Never plug and unplug the display while the system is running !!!!

Power the unit off look at the display lead it has a clip part on it and it should be easy to see how it plugs in...

If the stop start issues continue then take a small screwdriver and tighten all the push terminals on the cable
