At the end of next month its my sisters 18th birthday. The parent folk have charged me with finding a laptop or netbook computer. The budget is fairly variable up to around 500 quid.
What do you reckon the best bet is for that kind of money? I have an Asus Eee and am swayed more towards a netbook due to the fact it actually is portable unlike a laptop. She'll probably be taking it to uni next year, which again makes me think netbook due to portability. She mosty uses iTunes, Interweb for Facebook etc, so again I don't think a netbook will be pushed too hard.
Anyone got any thoughts? And what do people think of the netbooks they do own?
I like the look of the Samsung models but may venture to the cursed grounds of PC World to check some out in the flesh. Obviously I'm going to take a look at some reviews and group tests to find out whats what.
