My friends visiting, and yesterday we formated his computer in hope of it helping with his terrible FPS in certain games, but to no avail...
My friends laptop is an Acer with i5-2430M and Radeon HD 6650M. Im not surprised that some graphical games can cause low fps on his laptop, but even in a game like League of Legends with most graphical settings set to low/very low, it drops to 25-30fps. I downloaded SpeedFan and temps. showed about 55C on both CPU and GPU.
Is there anything he can do? I realize its a long shot, but I dont see the logic in the game(s) running fine, until a certain temperature. Does the GPU stop performing at its max. if it reaches a certain temp? I must say, I didnt think 55C was that much.
