Kingdom Come: Deliverance

just found this video, not heard or seen anything about this game until 5 minutes ago, but it looks quite promising dont you think

They got me at non-linear story. From the looks of it it's going to a pretty large world, so I hope it comes with mod tools.

I was half expecting Brian Blessed to suddenly appear throughout that video bellowing through the ages proclaiming how good times will be should one back the game. Left half disappointed! The other half thankful I still have my hearing ;)

Definitely one to keep an eye on, but more detailed in-game videos of the many various aspects of the game wouldn't go amiss.

Saw this yesterday and looks quite good. It says next-gen though...by that do they mean the next generation in games or do they actually mean next-gen consoles only possibly?

i dont think so, it does say in the header of the video i posted xbone,ps4 and pc

Sorry I didn't watch the video, the one I watched on gamespot.com didn't say the platforms I don't think.
hahaha its cool, oh the team sound like its got some great talent:

"Deliverance is an open world, action-adventure RPG developed by a veteran team composed of talent that played key roles in the Mafia, Crysis, ArmA and Operation Flashpoint franchises. Set during the Holy Roman Empire during the late Middle Ages, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is rich with historically authentic characters, themes and warfare.

I hope the combat is good, and the battles feel alive and populated, everything points towards it being so but I just don't know.

Ah thank goodness its been publicized. I looked at it two days ago and it only had £10,000. Now its nearly reached it's goal :D.

Apparently "innovative first person combat" means one guy attacks you at once. How long until we get a game with a melee combat system where they attack you no matter how bloody unfair it is. I hate these 1-on-1 systems.

Still, I like the concept. Bet you it's designed for consoles and we get a shitty port though.

Thats what I meat about the combat, you get dumped in a war and you have to go one on one, bit boring. They need to add more to the combat anyway, think Achilles in Troy, now that'd be aaaawesome.

PCs first, consoles after. Thats how they are doing it as they don't have permission to develop it for consoles first. Read the kickstarter :P.

Always loved that scene. Makes me want to play Age of Mythology.

Sorry lol, not interested enough to look at it xD

Dark souls, and Dark Souls 2 coming soon :D, witcher 2 is pretty unfair in combat too iirc.

no magic, i like that. Open world etc is very nice as well.
What isn't nice is that they are using cryengine. which means framerate stuttering will ruin everything.
