At 75-80£ it will have too perform way better than the noctua, before its worth the money

It looks near identical to the D14 if you ask me, there are a few differences but over all it's near identical and apart from the fans being black I doubt you would tell the difference from inside a case.

I noticed in its benchmarking, It puts itself up against the Noctua C14 which has only 1 heat sink and 2 fans, rather than the Noctua D14 which would have been more honest of a competition seeing as the D-14 has a 2 fan 2 heat sink set up just like the K2 Alpenföhn.

The only comparison I want to see from this K2 cooler is it up against the D14, The only reason I can think of that they did not Include the D14 is because they probably already tested it out and did not want to post those numbers.

But it is pretty.

only way for us to find out is some member who goes 4.4gHz on his 2500k with the D14

but still we wouldn't know because of the ambient and voltages..

It does look a bit better than the D14, and to all the ones saying it look to much like one, try and design a dual tower heatsink that doesn't, it's pretty hard i think

honestly the heatsink designs are gettin so insane that i wouldn't be surprised if noctua started development of the "d18" on seeing that post lol ram instillation ect would be a bitch though!

It surprises me that there aren't more heatpipe based cooling cases, not necessarily passive ones, but just heatsinks built into cases...
