I'm not surprised you didn't find one of these on the internet lols.
Very intriguing idea.
TBF I google: images and All.
Copper pc case
Computer made from copper
Computer case copper pipe
Still found nothing.........
I did find one person he used 90 degree bends, but no water just structure.
I use elbows to reduce restriction and the other case I found was starting to look promising, but then he stopped posting afterwards, he couldn't work out how to mount stuff without drilling into the water pipes LOL!
There are a few logistical problems with something like this:
1) Carbon from heat causes build up and clogging due to carbon from brazing & heat.
2) Copper is bloody expensive.
3) Copper is not the lightest materials to use.
4) Mixing metals and water causing galvanic corrosion.
5) Pump strong enough for flow to counter restrictions?
6) No test data on length of copper to actually cool enough?
I've taken each point and solved most of it. But half the battle is componets I need to work around and build with.
I can't even fully braze it all untill I choose a mobo and decide how to mount it in the perfect position and take it apart if I wanted to swap out the mobo aswell inherent problems working custom projects what turned into boredom has actuall taxed my senses for once
The black perspex arrived today:
The height of the perspex is exactly 244mm which is ATX height, but the actual piece is A3 size and 3mm thick. Waiting for M3 head screws six for the mounting frame to be bolted through should be strong enough to hold a mobo I think?
