Guess who just got

  • Q6600
  • 700w powersupply (they sent another 580w Hyper with it), with my 2 broken ones with them, I think it was some kind of a joke lol.
  • Corsair TwinX 4gb
  • Anti-Static Wrist Strap =]
  • AeroCool AeroEngine Plus Black Gaming Case
  • OCZ Freeze Extreme Thermal
  • Asus P5Q Pro

Now I just wait to get (2) x 4870, Raptor HDD and a nice shiny new heatsink :).

Finally I can start building soon.

Will get some nice OC'ing done to it lol :).
 
Will reply when I have time to post some pics :), the only camera I have at my disposal is a phone camera :(.

Better than nothing though I suppose.
 
Ha, yeah thank you :), Photobucket was crashing when trying to upload multiple images via their Java applet.

Just got to wait until I can offord my graphics cards now :), gotta get a HDD also.

What frequency am I going to be able to push out of this Q6600 using air, and under heavy load what will the temps be?

Sad thing is it's near Christmas and this time of year I never have any money at all lol, I'm owed some money but I got to see the geeza around lol. Just a sad panda at the moment because I can't have this built ASAP :(. I'm going to actually take pride in this build rather than my other ones lol, which is why I'm wearing a wrist strap :D.
 
why would you want two 4870's? It's proven that one 4870x2 is faster and also will leave you more scope toupgrade.

Spec looks good!
 
Just the price :(, I will only be able to afford 1 card when I actually have time to stop spending on family lol. Don't want to be waiting for longer :(.
