Jayz2cents:Unnecessary drama with Mayhems

To be honest all I ever really see when someone posts on a forum, or posts a video about Mayhems coolant is a outburst from Mayhems about how that person doesn't know what they are doing, when it comes to watercooling.

It happened to Tom and Jay, and I believe other people have suffered from the same sort of outbursts, and whilst I understand that a company will want to defend it's products I think the manner in which the responses to posts or videos have been handled, is quite poor and will put people off using the products that Mayhems sell regardless of how good they look or perform.

If it's a case of components not being cleaned properly or the coolant not being compatible with certain water cooling components, then personally I think one thing that Mayhems could do is sell from there site components that are known to be fine with the coolants, but also that are cleaned to a level that they believe they should be cleaned to, yes it might make them more expensive but if it stops the coolant changing colour then I think people might be willing to pay that little extra for that bit of security.

haven't read every thing but justin if you need a chat just catch me on FB mate or my email-

As an official statment from me ->

I (Mick of Mayhems) sincerely apologise publicly to Jason Langevin (JZ2Cents), Jerry Berg for the out bust on social media. Mayhems support has always strived towards consumer’s satisfaction, however this time I have let the team down. I will relinquish PR and support to our new representative who will now deal all matters pertaining to support and social Media. All social media accounts and Mayhems forum aliases will be handled by our representative whom will introduce them self in the New Year once we have everything in place.

That's pretty cool to see, Might go with Mayhems coolant after all :)

Technically it should be the tubing maker that should list incompatible substances. If fluid manufacturers would last it also, it would be a nice bonus.

I love and will always use mayhems products, now and in the future. They helped me a lot personal on fb and find them very friendly.

And i thought it was widely known that coolants, dye's or not dye's. Pastel or non pastel. Should be used for showbuilds only and that such things CAN happen?

New web support ticket system going live in a few days time.

http://support.mayhems.net/

http://support.mayhems.net/kb/index.php will be the FAQ section we are working on right now.

What has been removed is any support from me (mick), all telephone support (e.g got called 3:30 this morning from AUS asking for help and took about 1 hour to go though it all). You'll have a support team who will work Normal UK hours Monday till Friday and it will all be done via support tickets instead. My direct email will be dead in 2 days time.

We are also going to create support packs that contain mini blitz cleaning system with self address envelopes and empty sample bottles, So customers send back fluids to us to analyse for clarity of information. If we find a issues we will publish the data even it its our fault. We are aiming for a 12 to 24 hour window to get support packs out of the door with a 1 to 7 day arrival time world wide.

All sponsorship will also go though the new support system as well as all competition requests and free bee's.

That is all from me "mick" now any more interaction will be done via our support staff.

Good bye and happy new year to every one and all our real customers.

Its the same issue that has plagued dyes since the dawn of time, they break down when heated. Once you accept that any coloured fluid is going to break down then the less disappointed you will be when the inevitable happens.

If you can keep your watertemps below 30c then you are golden, the hotter it becomes then the faster the breakdown.
