Japan Display unveils 651ppi VR oriented display

KoOS, I have no idea what you're like in real life, but on here do do come across as a very negative person. You reply to every new article and thread with a negative opinion, and it seems you go out of your way to think of something bad to say about any new development or product. I have no idea what actually makes you happy, as you seem to take no joy at all from anything new or innovative unless it is of interest to you. It's a strange attitude to have on a technology based forum that actively enjoys new technology.

All in my opinion, of course, which means using your logic I am completely entitled to say it and you will not take any offence at anything I have said.

All i can say to this one too is....lol

To answer your question you wouldn't want to know me i'm a complete a**hole in real life, I have no life, i sit in my mother's basement all day everyday and use the internet 24/7

Never tried to.
I quoted because I was talking specifically to you. Sorry if that upsets you. I didn't force any opinion. I stated a fact, then proceeded to really just appease you and gave perspective on your opinion, but fact will still overcome eventually even if your opinion is the same or wrong.

If you don't like hearing my opinion or others facts/opinions, don't bother always posting "in my opinion and don't argue with me because I don't care what you have to say" and come off as cold. You post either that or you just say something negative about a product or company. So yes, people are going to respond to you. It's a internet forum. Don't get hot when someone tries to say something you don't like, you do this all the time. I was having a simple conversation, don't look into it.

I agree VR has amazing potential. Probably more applications outside of gaming tbh

This i agree 100%. I have already seen a demo of someone performing game design via UE4 in VR. That in itself opens the world to much higher immersion.

VR as much as I dislike it, is hear to stay my concern is the detrimental impact on the users eyes from long sessions. Its bad enough with monitors and we are always told it is unhealthy to stare at a screen in a dark room. How does that bode for enclosed VR goggles? Slightly off topic I know, but I would love to see this evolve into standard application design as opposed to "gaming"

Oh.. i'm behind the times I suppose. I didn't know about that:rolleyes:

Note that it's designed for Windows 10 too. So the Xbox is probably going to come later.

But yeah, $299 is easy.

3D wasn't always good but in some games? man... Like Dirt 3 for example it was almost like you could shove your hand into the screen and make adjustments on the dash.

The only issue I had with 3D was that if you looked away it didn't follow you and you just got this blurry mush haha.

I bought a plastic VR headset for my phone when I got the phone (Oppo Find 7a 5.5") and it was pretty cool. I could not cick on anything though as I did not have the fabled button, so testing only went so far but the tracking was good and movies looked great in a virtual cinema.

Does any one know of a button alternative? wouldn't mind giving it another go now !
