im trying to get a 88gtx atm as that looks like easy boints too but thats a loaner, i need to get all i can from the 88gts then move it on before i can spend on anything else as what spare cash i had just went on the ram thats got me a few more mhz of stability.

i am having iusses with 05 (both 3d and pc) where they either crash of fail a test and i cant get my head around it. even stock (well 24/7 clocks) its the same and idk if i have tweaked my xp install too much and they just dont like 7 or what. i dont think i would get anything from them anyway but still.

thursday night looks like it might be a cold one for anybody else in need of good air to push things that little bit harder

i7's don't give many points sadly. Although they are a good way to boost lower gpu's to get more points from them.

if only i had some lower gpu's id gladly get them benching tom you no spare gpu's knockin around for us to bench

just got 12th for a q9550 on sandra and got 0 :|

well other than a couple of 3d runs on my 460 which i dont think i will score on im done till i can get some better air

Well I think I have got all I can out of the i3 on water. Looking at possibly buying Flash's mobo and 750 from Aria so I might be able to get a few points from there. Still trying to get some GPU's to bench, lost out on two 8800gt's because I forgot and went to the pub about five mins before they ended on the bay.

strom theirs one fs on aria forums for 37.5 with a 3rd party cooler, bfg oc version iirc.

I have my 8800GT in now, just installing the drivers for it.

EDIT: Well that was a massive ball of fail, got 0.1 points for 3dmark03 at stock because if I overclock the card by 1mhz it artifacts and crashes haha.

might sound daft but have you tried changing the tim and blasting out the fins on the heatsink?

Bought the 8800GT. Once it gets here Ill see what i can overclock it too

should get some higher clocks than most others from that with the better cooler mate. I would consider changing the Tim on that too as I'm sure you can get better today than what is on it.

not sure what's going on with mine, I got it to post at 538 fsb last night but it went nuts when I tried 540. nothing I could do would get it to post but it was ok sat in the bios. flashed it again and then it would only work on the back up bios but that's a different version to what I was using so the templates I have are wrong, none of the settings above 3.8ghz work now.

so I need to basically start again and work my way up the clocks.
