Got it folding too :D

Now what cool things can I do with it

Also one thing...on the bigger tv downstairs (non widescreen, quite old but not bad viewing tv/dvd) every time there is sound (what it seems to me) the screen shows a load of refresh lines. Its annoying and ruins gaming. Plus if i plug the red line (out of white yellow and red) it makes a horrible buzzing noise (so i leave that one out)

Is it just a crappy old TV? Sony Trinitron i do believe

Ill be getting a converter for my 2007wfp soon but its pretty small for a screen :(

The 2007WFP is fine for gaming mate, think how close you sit to your monitor anyway. Mine is excellent along with my Xbox 360 via VGA.

Grats mate

There's not much point playing on an old CRT with the PS3, but I believe there's a fix on Sony's site for that issue...something about the ground being grounded twice perhaps.

The PS3 is 1337 and sweet :)

Its not really the audio thing that ticks me off - i have another problem. Downstairs i get a really grainy picture as well as those weird "sound lines" which distorts the image

I now have it upstairs on my 2007wfp connected with the yellow video composite and the grainy ness is still there...

WTF?

Will this solve my problems? Or should i get a better one?

The idea would be to have that going to a dvi splitter so i can flick between pc (dvi) and ps3 (dvi) on the fly

I think that would work.. As for quality of cable i'm sure that would be fine.. I've got a cheapo HDMI cable connecting my PS3 to my TV and its crisp.

I just dont get why the composite isnt fit for purpose...

I mean even connected up by scart to TV downstairs it has a worse picture that my ps2 in the same circumstances :s

Ooo the PS3 works horrible without a HD TV really.. Well not horrible but it truely isn't anywhere near as good as with one. My friend is using an old with scart on his PS3 and some games like ya say look like PS2 games. Some look better but still to get the most out of it you need a HDTV really.
