Im just working with that motherboard now. Is that a V2000 or a V2100 btw? Deffo need more pics and a proper spec

Looks really neat, look forward to some more progress reports and pics. I'm guessing a blue theme?

Looks good in there. Is this one going to get a nice grill like your other one?

Actually this is the the same Lian Li v2000 I just gutted my old amd internals. I'm trying to stay very budget conscience.

Ok here are a few quick updates.

Here is a better view of the mid-plate I made, I used a piece of lexan which I then sprayed with black vinyl dye. I then cut two holes out, this is where i dropped in 2 bitspower drain plugs (used as a bridge for the barbs). Also in the top corner of the pics you can see the pump screws poke down from the cases divider, to stop vibration of the pump there is 2 silicone hdd vibration grommets, and i also cut up a pen shaft and used it as a spacer.

I used some edge molding here to make it look a little cleaner.

Here is a good view to see how the pump is mounted.

now all tubed up ready for leak testing

the pump is mounted really well into the system - ive seen some people spend ages trying to route tubing into awkward positions, rather than just finding a different place to place the pump.

nice job.

So the build is finished (I will add the pics in the next few days). So far everything seems great I bought my motherboard used so I was crossing my fingers that it would function ok. I decided to overclock a bit today, it was my first time with an i7 so i'm sure I can trim down and clean it up the voltages a bit for better temps.

So I have 4ghz "stable" @ a core voltage of 1.248 (191x21)

My ambient temp was about 22c, Idle temps are average 34c and the load temps during intelburntest x20 runs 60,58,58,57.

K I got some more pics to add

here is the little faceplate mod I did to my lamptron FC4 so it matched the rest of the Lian Li bay covers

I got the gelid fans mounted

So have you got a quad rad on your CPU then? Or will you be extending the loop later? If not, then that should porvide some impressive temps.

Yeah so far I am only running the quad on the Cpu mainly because the only thing other then that I would WC would be the gpu, as of now the system is running 2 9600gt and and it isnt worth the investment to buy blocks for these old cards, I think possibly in the future when I get a newer card a gpu block may be in order. But the temps on just the Cpu are pretty good after tuning my Overclock a bit I have an easy 4ghz and my idle temps are on all 4 cores an average of 32 and a max average of 52 after 20 passes of intel burn test.
