Good morning fellow :oc3d: lurkers

finally got my bonus through and its time to spend,

Needs for her

Blogging, video editing about once a week, Facebook, and my secondary folding machine when she isnt using it. she also wants dual screen but i have 2 x 22" monitiors im giving her for now, both VGA inputs.

Needs for me.

Gaming primarily, using fraps and also live fees to twitch.tv, editing videos or our group gaming for fun. folding. i am also very un-sure atm if i want to go for 3 x 24" iiyama screens. or 2 x 27" from korea with 2560x1440 res. i know there is a risk with these panels but i think im willing to take them. esp for the price.

Currently i have a decent rig which is going to the wife with a few minor changes, she like small, so she is having my

3770k
32gb corsair vengeance ram 1600
D14
SSD
Silverstone 850 PSU
this stuff is all purchased already

in addidtion to this i am getting her the follow to complete the set

Bitfenix Phobya in white
probably a 560ti (will be running dual screen but both monitors are VGA inputs so would i need anything special)
Mini ATX board. looking for about £100 but i cannot decide for the life of me which one is best so kinda need help.

So that is her done now my turn

3770k
Corsair H100i
16GB Muskin blackline ram 1600mhz
AX760i
MSI GD55
256 M4 SSD
2 x 1TB WD black
2 x GTX 680 signature 2 SOC editions (i dont think 1 would handle 2 2560x1440 screens well)
Cooler master stryker case

With regards to monitors

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110950958248?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
these are the ones im looking at they have very good reviews on them, and a very thorough one from a dude in the USA.

1 would be for gaming and the other used as reference for things/video watching

OR i could go down the 3 x iiyama x2377hds prolite 23, the ones with the thinest bezel and play 3 screen gaming /2 screen with 1 on forums/video watching gain

i have budgeted £2500 to spend on ALL of this stuff or there abouts £100 over wont be such a problem
, but as always less is more meaning i can spend other money elsewhere on other nice things :P

Water cooling will come later on next year, i just want the basics for now

any help/advice would be appreciated so i can place the order before the end of the week ESP for the monitors

Sorry for the long post i think i have it all in. thanks again in advance

Would like to add i run external discdrives as i cant stand them in the rig not being used for 10000000 months then you need it once

1600MHZ ram with 2x 680's makes NO sense.

Ivy loves bandwidth so you want 2133 minimum but IMHO with a rig like that it should be 2400.

Id also get the GD65 or the Big Bang mobo

ok thanks noted and will change on my spreadsheet

this is why i post things like this before ordering

i guess i should start a project log on this too since i just ordered the monitors, looking at the dominator platinums for the RAm now

I like the GD65 with its 8xSATAports meaning you can easily add moar storage :) If you need wifi (and dont have a spare dongle laying around) the MPower might suit you better. Wifi dongles are cheap though, and easy to whack into a spare usb port. The MPower is the better board of the two, technically speaking, and goes through tougher testing at the factory. I just like the extra two SATA ports on the GD65.
