I agree with him. These boards are drab and ugly. The only ones who have pulled off a good looking shield/Armor is the Sabertooth series by ASUS and even then, it had more detail that was appealing, yet still managed simplicity.

These are renders but there is nothing there to catch the eye.

Their Z97 Sabranco was beautiful. I've been kind of hoping they would do another one like that one...as long as they release the Z370 or Z470 Impact board FIRST (It's past due to update the Impact! I want a Coffee Lake Impact board for my Corsair 380T).

CAM is just plain awful. I got rid of it a while ago and just use Asus Aura to control my LED strips now.

Same here. CAM refuses to even give me sane voltage readings, and not many programs have that issue other than CAM and OCCT (good for stress testing on my MB, but crap for voltages). Sad too, I actually like CAM's UI.

Not the only one fella, I use it daily but I might be considered as bias towards it as I was part of the BETA development team from the very beginning through to v3.0. Regular users have no idea how bad it used to be and the damage it did in the BETA stages :lol: but that's why we have BETA testers. It has matured beautifully and I'll not use anything else now.

As for the motherboard $299 is a touch steep for a low grade OEM panel, had it been I don't know Asus or EVGA who provided the board then I'd be all over this to make the jump to DDR4.

My first impression of the picture was that it looks pretty awesome, but having had a few minutes to read everyone's input I do think that the form has to take a backseat to the function. Even without existing criticisms of the NZXT motherboard, I would be very apprehensive about a crucial system component being made by a company that isn't already well established in that field. Third-party boards with NZXT branding makes me question what oversight they have and whether specification and quality are affected by that.

I do like the styling but when there's a big price tag and uncertain quality, aesthetics are not enough.
