Is your PC ready for Dead Space? The Remake's system requirements are here!

Pretty meaningless if they don't give resolution & FPS targets.

I mean, Does 'Recommended' mean 1080p 60FPS? or 1440p 30FPS

To my mind 'Recommended' should mean 4K Ultra Settings @ 60FPS :D

I agree, but I still think the generic Norm is 1080p @ 60fps for PC gaming. Although many studios tend to provide several recommended settings (excluding EA as usual)

e.g.
recommended for 1080p @ xx fps
recommended for 1440p @ xx fps
recommended for 4k @ xx fps

I remember being surprised by how well optimised the original was and that I could run it maxed out back then.

I guess times are over now and it really is time to upgrade for me.

Dont be too hasty on upgrading. I would say wait till this title is actually released. Optimisation could bring the recommended specs down.

And given NV prices of the 4xxx I would hate to "have to" upgrade right now as opposed to wanting to.

Thing is, I WANT to upgrade as well, although I don't really need it outside of a very limited mount of games I'm actually looking forward to like God of War and Dead Space.
