well something is wrong with that file. It appears to be a file from a working opsys thats been corrupted. The other part that has me bamboozled is the AMD64 part. It shouldnt be trying to install that atm. Hers something else to try and I'm going to admit its a real shot in the dark. Remove your gpu and install using onboard.

gdiplus.dll is a vital file for AMD graphics cards it's used for rendering 2D environments like your windows desktop if it's corrupt it'll cause BSODs have you tried uninstalling CCC and reinstalling it?

dude he cant even get windows installed. That's what has me bamboozled. Its a post install file what the hell is it trying to do during a windows install. Only thing I can think is the machine he used to make the win7 usb drive with added it in for some stupid reason. But then again he said its happened also when using the dvd. But then again the errors can be different alot of times.

GP at this point I may suggest something I never recommend. since you can install to a hdd without issue do that get it all drivered up and updated. then clone it to the ssd and see what happens.

Jeepers this is a real mystery... I agree with S_I_N though go with a HDD install and just clone it. This I think will have to go in the annals of Unsolved, it's certainly a head scratcher.

Just a thought Gamerpro105 is the firmware of the Samsung 840 evo SSD upto date?? Have just read that a few people on the Micro$oft forum having similar issues with random install fails.

Sorry Wrenaudrey only just realised we have hijacked your thread but did notice you also have a Samsung 800 series SSD.

I have to apologize to Wrenaudrey but for future reference to others this should be helpful how do i check the firmware on the drive that's probably a good idea and i will use my 80GB tomorrow to clone the drive thanks for that tip!

Put the drive in another machine and use a tool like HDDTune, even speedfan will show you the firmware.

AN UPDATE, so I've mirrored ad rive and it works fine up until you do something tasking on it like running a high end game or performance testing it then it lags up and blue screens any ideas?

OK so I recall you saying this is the second ssd thats done this right?? Am I correct in assuming its a rma replacement??? If so return it for a refund and buy a different brand. One bad ssd is possible 2 bad ones unlikely unless they sent your original one back to you. I'm thinking it may just not be compilable with your rig.

What does your event viewer say after the crash?

I have updated my AMD drivers and haven't had a crash since? that could be a compatibility issue with my AMD 7950 and Samsung 840 evo?

An way thanks for your help guys and the advice to mirror the drive in the end worked out for me!
I have made a custom mount that is going in to be powder coated later so as a thanks here is a picture of how it looks now!
