Is my Raid dying?

First of all there was Error detected (0) in the raid controller boot up bit.

Now i'm getting 2 second lockups every once in a while....

Could it just be the raid or is one of the raptors actually dying...oh dear

My Raptor died recently. Do you have SMART enabled? Oddly enough for the first time ever SMART actually did something and warned me of impending doom. So I just shut the PC down and ordered another drive and imaged the raptor accross using Acronis.

Sure enough when I got to about 65% Acronis had read problems. Thankfully I only had to end up skipping three clusters and the only casualty was Firefox. Just needed to reinstall it.

So I need to turn off raid temporarily and run a hdd test off hiron boot cd or something?

just to confirm the casualty?

maybe it was an unstable gpu oc or something...we shall see
