Is My 3570k any good?

Cheers Josh i do count myself very luck, as i have been doing some reading and it would appear that Ivy bridge can be a pain to overclock something i did not come across, which is why i guess some where a bit hostel in there post when i first started posting my results.

The temp seem to be fine up to 4.8 anything after that there is a big jump, not sure to why but i am sure i will find out in due time.

Note from mine and James' sigs that we have both got to 5GHz on our Ivy Bridge processors, but it took us a lot more volts to get there :)

Do you guys never believe or something! i have done everything anyone has ask form start to finish. :(

Is there anything else people want me to do? don't want to sound rude just getting tired of people saying i have made mistakes

It's unlikely, but it could happen though. Just noticed his stepping says 9, and his revision says E1, which are both the same as mine. So it's probably the same chip.

@jamesriley94

You can have advice - absolutely fine...
But you cant really come here and brag about overclocks when you havent fully checked stability.

Prime test it for 12 hours - if it's stable after that, then fine - I'll even apologise if you can get stable at 4.5ghz at anything under 1.17v...

1.17v for 4.5ghz would be absolutely amazing itself...
1.104 is impossible.

:)
