Is it just me or does the GTX 570 seem really cheap at the moment. You can pick one up from scan for like £175.

They are getting cheaper and cheaper £178 is a bargain for a 570 prices are bound to get even cheaper though, especially when the 660 Ti is released.

Thats what im hoping, haha. But it seems crazy that for like £10 more (or cheaper) you could go from a 560 ti to a 570.

Nvidia are sitting on thousands of gtx 570s they want to get rid of, apparently they wont release the 660 Ti until they have shifted them all so I guess that is why the prices have dropped.

That's pretty bad of them to hold back, as if they don't make enough money as it is.

Never really been a fan of the 570 myself, they run to hot and use to much power for my liking

the 500 series has been a bargain product since the 600 release. makes for a SLI thought.

60°-70° at 40% fan hot? its not a record breaking performer but it fills the bill. and under 200

compared to 400 new 600 series... the value is not there, yet.

nVidia made a small miscalculation on the high end cards and finds itself with a stockpile of more than 120,000 GTX570 chips which MUST be cleared ahead of the GTX 660 launch

hummm if the 590 houses dual 580 GPU

so a triple 570 GPU on a single card can clear out a warehouse 3times quicker!

get NVidia on line with a driver pack and make it speed-step in performance or

user over-ride WOT hell-fire... for a single card 325 high to 275 low retail the

triple crown 570 retail $550.. a fire sale to day!

They only thing about the 570s though is the Vram, only just over 1gb which is ok for now for most games but it's not very future proof. They are still at a bargain price though and would be a good card to fill the gap until the new gen cards drop in price a bit or until the next lot of cards are released.

I also saw that these cards were dropping in value very very quickly. Wish i had a spare bit of cash lying around i'd def get a pair of these for this value
