Is Club3D HD7970 good?

Hi guys how good is Club3D HD7970 Royal Queen 3 GB
Found this card at 240 €, how good is this price performance wise?
And is the new 280x much better then this?

No one knows how it will compare to the 280x. Also according to Toms testing that card is the best 7970 on the market.

that's a great price, but i would wait till end of the month to compare it to the new AMD gpus. can't go wrong with that.

Even if OP does wait the newer cards will most likely push the prices down just a little bit and get them on sale later on for much less.

I agree Waiting so see what happen's would be a prudent move.

In regards to the OP, both the Club3D HD7970 RoyalAce and Royalking are better, but then they are more expensive so I'm not sure if OP was also referencing price points.

The Radeon HD 7950 RoyalKing is cheaper 208 €,Radeon HD 7970 RoyalAce is 270€
7970 RoyalAce is the same as the Gtx 770 in terms of performance
I will wait to see how the R9 280x does,but is a good time to change my
gtx 560 ti,had driver problems for the past 5 months
