My question is: Is Amy Winehouse, the UK's all-prayered answer to Michael Jackson?

Does Amy Winehouse Live Performances at T in the Park, Mandela Celebrations, etc - are just another smoked-screen utopian blurred media-hype of a person heading towards Mick Jacko Waco proprtions of absurdities and madness?

Her 'husband' Blake-Fielder suggested that she can take any 'living substances known to man' to enchance her singing career - Why is she still in love this freaky-deaky oxymoron?

Is Amy Winehouse the classic, 'Sex, Drugs Rock 'N Roll' suicidal-tendency type on the Road To Oblivion?
 
Michael Jackson had chart hits though, didnt he? The only hits I see Winehouse have is of the drug kind and the floor kind.
 
Well from what I can see and read about in the papers... if not very much bright future for her... in any single way.
 
I just think of her as a dirty little crack head, who needs a good slapping. I don't have time for junkies like her or her hubbie and I certainly don't have any sympathy for them. they knew the consequences of drug use before they started on them so let them suffer! They are both a waste of space and deserve each other. It's a shame really, because some of her tunes (when she remembers the words:D ) are quite good. The press will soon get bored of her though and that's when her 'career' will be finished. She has only lasted this long in the limelight due to the scandals.
 
I`ve never figured how she`s even ever in the limelight.

Some1 @ some newspaper must have known her on a personal level and the tumbleweed grew.
 
She was a very talented singer when she was doing her own thing, then she sold out creatively and it went downhill from there.

The main difference is actually that michael jackson has produced some fantastic songs, winehouse is just a crack fueled flash in the pan
 
I really wish that whoever she lunged out at the other week had of put her on her arse! That would have been classic TV and I would laughed my arse off!!

Did anyone know that she is Jewish and her father who is a London cabbie is attempting to save her career, health and well-being but sadly to no avail?

In fact, he had to go on Breakfast tv and annouce that she is giving up live drug-addled performances and concentrate on recording new song material later on in the year?

More News: Her dad believes that is, "...She is going to die a slow death via smoking because she has lung disease; she won't die quickly by drugs but a slow lingering death by contnuing smoking-related substances..."

Question: Do you believe that Amy Winehouse will die slowly or do you think her frazzled hubbie will accelerate the obvious - quick, fast immediate classic Rock 'N Rollered suicidial drugged-induced deaths, eh...? (Of course, she would then be 'Immortalised' as a Rock 'N Rollered Heroine Ad Infinitum..)..yuckety yuck...:rolleyes:

Tbh I`m more interested in whether green wallpaper goes well with a fawn painted ceiling.

Ziggy is talent.
