best i got out of my 4800 was 3.1 stable under mach 2 gt r507 , didnt push it any further as the temps were already reaching +3c (usually sat around 0c but would bounce up and down) max under 100% load 2 instances of sp2004. selling it now as i have no need for dual core dosent really offer any benefits to what i do on pc

lo pancake mate :D

Why do you want to change to an X2 Daz? (don't say so you can be top of custompc benchmark :p )

The the dual cores may not be all that in current games, but you could play two version of the same game at the same time, why not i have and no i wasnt cheating :P much. But also i was watching tele and remeber some guy saying that with dual cores you could develope very complex physics engines in games etc with that kind of setup.

So if you all go buy dual cores then they will be more inclined to inovate like that :D and when they do i will buy a dual core ;)

Your english is terrible, but i get your point, shame the PhsyX chip is being developed for complex phsyics.

This i get after i put effort in on my bad spelling :(

i'll get better egrish skills when you cure world hunger, deal?.

Shame? i dont get your point. Complex physics chip sounds good to me :) you ever played planetside :p

Exactly right - duallies are not relaising their full potential right now because of the fact that many programs/games are not optimised to take advantage of the 2nd core.

The physics chip will allows single core users to offload some tasks and thus extend the life of their product and duallies can do the same until the two cores are fully utilised in games (which in an iseal world will happen at the same time negating the need for duallie's to have the physics chip).
