Quick one is 50Gb enough for windows 7 and steam (not to many games)

ive got quite a bit of hard drive space as in normal mechanical ones so i can image windows as a back up if any thing fails.

yer man it is uses around 20gb on my vertex 2

50gb should be enough it's 20gb for a 64bit or 16gb for 32bit install so you will have 30gb left over for apps and games.

i had one 64GB SSD in my one rig

even though i have installed all apps to my HDD (changed path to program files) - it stills has eaten up 47GB.

but, i personally, do use some serious apps and a tonne of plugins that go with them

yeh i dont need that , a bit of steam and every thing else can go on the storage drives. i mainly run a couple of games at a time if im lucky, how ever i need my storage for my emus.

I would put steam on a larger drive even if you do only have a few games. The thing I hate about Steam is the fact that you can't have your games on multiple drives all the games have to exist on the Steam install drive. It's better to just give Steam enough room to grow. I only have 10 games installed from my Steam library and my Steam folder is at 70G.

Thks yeh ill do that. how ever Amazon still aint confirmed my order and if it aint confirmed by monday ill change my plans.

oh well canceled the order from amazon cos there rubbish and dont have a clue what there talking about will have to look for a alternative from else were.
