IPS Screen for Gaming?

I'm looking at this monitor (Dell S2340M) and I can't decide if it's fine for gaming or not. I'm asking this because I hear some people say that an IPS monitor is not good for gaming. The screen response time is 7ms and my current monitor has 5ms. I'm not spoiled by the high tech monitors yet so I could be fine and since I've never experienced ghosting then it's not even something that I look out for and I hear that's one of the things noticeable to people who look for it and have an OCD about it. Will I notice any 'ghosting' or anything that is negative towards gamers with this IPS monitor?

I have a DELL IPS and it's fine for gaming, 2ms difference is pretty much nothing.
I don't notice any ghosting or anything untowards on mine at all.
Colours are lovely. Viewing angles are excellent as well.

I haven't used that monitor, but I am using a Dell U2412M 8ms(IPS panel) and haven't noticed any ghosting or any problems in games or in general for that matter, I've tried fps and racing games so far.
