I'm new here. I posted my introduction in the wrong section, so it got removed
So I'll try again here.
I've been watching this forum, website and facebook page for quite some while now that I was eager to join this forum and show you what I've got.
Well to start my introduction.
My name is Tom van Tilburg, I'm 24 years old. I live in Northern Brabant in the Netherlands, with my Girlfriend (Tamara) and my two cats. I'm currently studying computer Programming. My goal is to make indy games in the near future and probably make websites to keep the income comming.
I've been into computers since I was a little boy. My sister had a boyfriend back then. He was a real nerd and knew ALOT of pc's especially for that time and seeing the age he had (He was like 17/18 back then and it was around 1999, when the pc's were still in the developing stage compared to what it is now).
I remember him having made an athlon 3000 back in the days for us, I was only like 10 years old and helped him building it. That's where the interest was starting to grow. I already was into webdesigning (However I didn't make much more than static pages back in the day.. I started to develop my web skills when I was about 13/14.)
So yeah, this was my little introduction..
My plans are to upgrade CPU and Motherboard ASAP, when my budget will allow it, seeing I'm a poor student, I have to wait for my birthday .
It's not that I'm not satisfied about the performance (Multi tasking rocks on AMD). But it's just when I'm on my school laptop, I notice severe difference in performance when it comes down to single threaded performance, which is because it's an intel. But all in all it's not a bad build to be honest if you push some overclocks.
