Hi all, new to the forums, but thought I would try to introduce myself. Big fan of computers and the stuff you can do to them and with them. Too bad they usually cost so much to build. Recently made a new build myself and OC3D has helped in that regard. Did tons of research, reading and watching videos so I have a touch of knowledge. I have also been building gaming computers for a few years now so I'm pretty familiar with the inside of the box. Always tweaking, changing and adjusting something. Still need to figure out why these things are so entertaining. Anyway, enough with the boring stuff, lets see what he has under the hood.
Case: NZXT Phantom - Black
Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth x58
CPU: Core i7 920 @ 4.2ghz
Cooler: Corsair H50 push/pull
RAM: Patriot Sector 7 6gb @ 2000mhz 9-9-9-24
GPU: MSI GTX 460 Hawk Edition @ 918mhz
Audio: Creative SB X-Fi Fatal1ty Pro
PSU: Kingwin Mach1 600w modular
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 500gb x2 in RAID 0
So that's the general idea behind my rig. I know some of the parts and pieces are not that great, but most of it is awesome. Got smokin good deals on a lot of the system. In fact I got another great deal on a new piece for it yesterday, hope to get it by next weekend and I don't want to spoil the surprise. So I will update that when the time comes. Still have a bit of work that I want to do on the system, all it takes is money I guess. I'll stick a pic up so you may have a peek for your viewing pleasure. I did a bit of work with some LED's to make it shine a bit. Everyone likes shiny stuff.
