Jeez take it to private messages or something, this has no place here!
Sometimes it needs to be called out - take care of yourself.
the usual BS from butthurt AMD fanboys. The same said about the 9900k and plenty are running 5Ghz on Air and AIOs without issues.I've little doubt it will throttle in record time to and given the cost of motherboard VRM's capable of powering it without melting...
OK was I the only one to look close enough to spot it?
Bah, IMGUR has gone down. Firstly look at the clock speed. It's not actually 5.4ghz. It's 5.475. So it's quite close to 5.5ghz.[...]
Who are you any way? 9 posts. Got nothing better to do than skim over forums and try to score points?
I feel sorry for you.

Guess the frustration will go on until Ryzen 7000 when AMD finally hits 5Ghz..on one core![]()
Most of your post spoke truth.. but that was a little pathetic to say. For someone who says they are autistic often, accurate facts and answers are paramount to some which is what this user brought up. Your response was unnecessary.
Do we want our forum to turn into Linus tech tips full of toxicity? No.
So can we tone it down and just move on. Don't like a response? ignore it. TTL wants more users frequenting this site. We want to keep them here not push them away.

The other issue I say is that another problem is that people don't want to debate anymore. They just want to meet like-minded people and sit in an endless circle jerk. Plus, no one can make their own decisions anymore, influencers and adverts decide everything for them but it's made worse by that people pretty much defend corporations like it's s cult, like Apple for example. He has 9 posts, never gets involved in any conversation or adds anything to the forum and then gets all pedantic when he spots an error. Look, if it were you or any of the other regs? I wouldn't care. It was a mistake, and I put my hands up and admitted the mistake. And then it bothered me, because with half a brain cell you can easily figure out how and why I made the mistake.
As for getting more members on the forum? sorry to say but that ship sailed years ago. People just don't use them any more, it's all about Instagram, Youtube and Facebook. It's only the die hards with enough intelligence to partake in discussions (and sometimes arguments, yet get over it as any family does) that come here.
Linus's forum exploded. Then the big problem with that soon arose. It was impossible to have a conversation, or debate etc. There were simply just far too many people jumping in and it was ridiculous. Just far too hectic to hold any decent conversation.
Now? most of it is dead, apart from the "Come and get your free tech support here" bits. Where it's mostly people just asking questions.
As for autism? If it weren't for autism none of us would have the OS that most of us use. As for accurate facts? given the CPU is under chilled water the whole thing is not accurate. How many people do you know who run a chiller 24/7? so it could have been five thousand ghz. Won't make any difference when you get one, because you won't even get close. So arguing over 75mhz is kinda pointless, given the circumstances.
Any way, no one gets it right all of the time every time. Not even geniuses. It's all a part of being human. Which means in order to criticise something like that you need to be absolutely perfect, which is also not possible. Hence my aggravation with it.
I react every time someone rudely points out a mistake to Mark when he's doing the news and info etc. I don't like it. Any one with half a brain can realise it's just a mistake or typo and move on.

Absolutely, problem is that most won't debate anymore. If they get challenged they just start hurling abuse instead rather than listening to reason.Debates are fine, but insults are not necessary.

Really everyone?... A thread about the upcoming i9 10900K achieving an overclock of 5.4GHz and what do one read when opening the thread? - 3 pages of members throwing crap at each other.
Do you all seriously have nothing better to do in your personal life than throwing this stuff at one another on an internet forum? Grow up.
On page 3 in this thread, the topic regarding comparison of forum to another forum arised. Regarding toxicity in the forums... Now, I'm far from perfect and have done my share of mistakes and unnecessary arguments. But even I can see that this is beyond ridicolous and unnecessary.
This forum is supposed to be friendly and helpful. Sure, everyone can loose their stuff at moments. But at those times, rather than raging out on the forums, leave your PC and cool down.
And frankly, no one wants bull on here. Especially not seeing personal attacks on here. Take that somewhere else, it doesn't belong here. We have enough forums of that as it is.
Keep it friendly folks!
Now lets leave this and get back on topic...
