Ivy Bridge =/= Ivy Bridge E

Ivy Bridge releases next year.

Ivy Bridge E is probably pushed back a little along with Ivy Bridge due to an apparent lack of demand.

i thought u were waiting for the x79 version of ivy not the 1155 but i guess ur looking at 1155 ivy

anyway.... if you guys dont already know.. the cpus are 999 usd for the extreme series... 594 usd for the K series 6 core (fully unlocked one im getting ) and 294 usd msrp for the 4 core

I finally got a good reason to get a new case...Cosmos II FTW. (Where's SieB at?). I gotta get me some money together for this. I bet entry level boards will be pretty expensive (vs. AMD AM3 boards)

It's interesting to see that the UD5 has more ram slots then the assassin and the UD7OC.

Also will be interesting to see what the MSI Big Bang version and the EVGA "SR-3" will look like.

Also the pricing on that Intel cooler is insane, it looks poor, and has the same mounting system as the few year old H70. For that price you are better off with almost anything.

Yeah but it has a flashy backlit Intel logo on the waterblock! That's definitely worth the price... hahaha
