Isn't that a QX9650, not a Q9650 that they've just announced. The QX9650 (and QX9770) are extreme editions with unlocked multipliers and prices in the same realm as their performance. The Q9650 will be locked multiplier but still 3.0GHz and much, much cheaper. At the risk of hypocracy, that is good...we're not all made of money (especially me now thanks to the QX9770)

If I had a bit more cash I might think about building a smaller system (not sure why) with an X48 and a Q9400 and have a bit of fun overclocking it. Not quite ready to risk my QX because of the voltage its pulling just to stop annoying Striker II Extreme random freezes.
