Intel Start 32nm Chip Production

Are these to compete with AMD's 32nm chips?

Q4 09, woah Intel really have been throwing the chips out lately, whereas AMD (ATI) been focusing on the graphic's side of things.

Forgive me for being dull, does this mean the 1366 socket might as well be thrown in the bin? Or do we think the next quad 32nm will be still X58 (ish) based?

Would seem silly for them to urinate on the swathes early i7 adopters.

Only time will tell, and it depends on how the 32nm chips perform too..

I have heard that the socket 1156 is a ''dead end'' socket/
