If Intel can stick to this then they'll be onto a winner as this is one of AMD's biggest strengths.

I doubt it they change there socket more often than a whole set of sockets, I expect if they do anything it'll be a short lived thing and they will find a reason....for no reason.
After the stagnation they done after sandy bridge do they honestly thing consumer confidence in them is even there, cause it sure isn't from me, still maybe after losing half the market they might finally understand where they went wrong right ?
