Hmmm until the fourth quarter of '09 my i7 will stay top of the line. Not bad if I say so myself

Looking forward to the 32nm chips though, I hope they run cooler than the 45nm chips.

Jeez m8, unless ur some1 looking for every 0.05% increase in performance from every component, I`d expect ur i7 setup to be current for a heck of alot longer.

Sure there`ll be revisions of what u have, particularly in the mobo department, but inherently the mobo/cpu departments arent going to make any incredible leaps.

I don`t expect a big jump in performance from the 32nm tbh. Just less power, to which the oc`er will obviously do their best to overcome

Remarkable the pace with which things change in the computer industry. Shame the software peeps dont push the boundaries anywhere near as fast.
