Hi, i like your reviews on youtube so i thought i would stop in to ask about the Intel liquid cooling system. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006588Z7G/ref=gno_cart_title_3

I have a Zalman 9900MAX right now with my i5 3570K at 4.5GHz, runs mid 30°Cs at idle and low 70°Cs under load and low 80°Cs in prime.

Should i stick with the Zalman or swap it for the Intel. I would sell my Zalman if the Intel is the same or better cooling performance.

It's no better than the corsair hydro series - just paying more cause it says 'intel' on it.

Also, with Ivybridge, there's a big increase in temps after around 4.5ghz anyway so chances are you wouldnt be able to get much higher anyway.

I think there's probably better ones to buy IMO

The intel rad is 30mm thick, the H80 is 38 so the h80 is in theory better.

If you're paying that much money, you may as well just get the h100 tbh

Or, if you're not willing to buy the H100, or don't have the rad space, buy a 'D14 - beats all but the H100.
For 24/7 use 4.5-4.6GHz seems to be the max though, as temps just get too high.

It does take a lot of aethetics away though. I dont mind the heatsink or the colours on mine or anything, but it is covering the RAM and the pretty heatsinks from view :D Just detracts so much away from the board

the intel device is a poor mans corsair h60
go for the h100 you shouldn't be disappointed just ditch the stock corsair fans packaged with it as they're well noisy at load lol
