Intel Kaby Lake CPU pricing leak

I hate it when prices are shown in USD its so hard to guestimate the GBP price because its never a simple swap. Just hope its under £300 for the 7700k

According to Google :p

While you may think that is correct. It is not. It's never 100% accurate and does not take into account taxes.

Should be used to it by now. Intel is an American based company. It's natural for them to talk in $. And take into account this is rumors still, not even official.

just simply do it, like we do it (from germany)
just add 150 bucks on top and you got the price for it.

Bloody hope not the 6700k retails at £280 and the £770/4790k both retailed at £280ish. Although looking at what happened with NVidia and the GTX 1080 pricing I wouldn't be surprised

Didn't Skylake go up in price to around £330 at one point for the I7?

This is the last round that Intel can take the pee, so take the pee they probably shall. Once Zen hits they are going to have to rethink their pricing/cores offered.

Saying that though AMD might get all greedy giving Intel justification to keep their prices high.

The thing is, quite a bit has changed since then. Unfortunately with the Brexit thing and the lower value, I rather doubt it will remain the same as the previous releases unless the value recovers.

Is anyone moving from Skylake to Kaby Lake? My plan had always been to move from the i5 6600K to the i7 7700K, however for my usage (gaming) the differences will be minimal, I expect, and my current kitten purrs at 4.60GHz with easy so why break up a good thing, I've come to think now. Nevertheless I am excited for Kaby Lake because, well, new hardware :D As for pricing, the same thing might happen as with the 6700K; a rather large increase early on?
