It won the enthusiast award...because it's an enthusiast chip. Of course it's stupid. Most products at the bleeding edge usually are. I love that manufacturers churn this type of thing out occasionally. It's not something I'll ever buy, but it's awesome to see what enthusiasts do with products like this.
I find these posts quite amusing and have seen them thousands of times from many different people on different reviews videos, Articles etc... over the years.
When AMD gets a good review it's "AMD pays you" when an Nvidia product gets a good review it's "Nvidia paid you" and when Intel gets a good review or "Enthusiast" award in this case, It's "Intel pays you".
If that was the case Intel wouldn't want the enthusiast award because it says 98% of pc users don't want or need this cpu, it will reduce their sales to the people who want to spend £2000 on a watercooling loop.
Take note of Dicehunters post because people who've been here long enough have seen Tom accused of this for every brand at some point.

I understand it while I would never want the cpu and to me better options it's part of being enthusiastic towards a product not like I don't have my own for other products about as outspoken as you could be.
Been watching Tom since the custom paint cases now many years ago I've lost count, like all things it's preference and it's not like he ever told you to buy it in fact I think he warned you against it ?
It's just not a product for the norm it's for people that are deep into tinkering.
