Intel Core i5 8600K Build from a I5 2500

Are you planning on upgrading the whole system at once or bit-by-bit?

Either way that should be a huge upgrade for you, though I would recommend an AIO cooler over a large air cooler these days.

All at once was a bit on the cautious side of aio coolers of them leaking what would u recommend for aio if I go that way

I would just buy the 1080 you want first and see how that goes.

If you have the money then I don't see an issue with list except for the PSU. Could get away with a 650watt.

As for the AIO, for that price you could probably get away without spending too much more for a solid AIO. Corsair/NZXT make good ones.

I wouldn't bother with any 120 AIO personally. I would get the 240.
Which one you looking at in particular?

edit: Just curious but have you looked into Ryzen? I was looking at prices and it's so much cheaper. Granted it will be slower but just worth a mention if you wanted to save money.

I was looking at the Corsair H100i V2 just not that keen on Ryzen really but it does sound like its getting a lot more popular

That's a good choice for an AIO. The NZXT one looks far better but it's not worth the extra $70.

Yeah it's pretty popular, up to you. I was just mentioning it in case you didn't hear about it. I have run into quite a few people recently who didn't even know what Ryzen was, so it was just on my mind. If you aren't keen on it then you still be more than happy with a 8600k.

Another question cause I am only going to be playing games at 1080p I could save some cash at get the ASUS 1070 TI but I also want the computer to last me 3 or so years and still be good
1080 $879 Or
1070 TI $799
What to do ??

Yeh I’ll get a ASUS one but just like to stick with same manufacture with mobo and gpus unless u can confince me other wise
