Intel braced for significant market share loss thanks to "stiff competition" from AMD

If Intel don't want AMD to take such big market share they need to start supporting the same socket/chipset for multiple future CPU's, That's a HUGE selling point of Ryzen.

Any market share going to AMD is bad for Intel.
Not only because Server builders look for longevity and if they move its going to be a permanent (not indefinite) move but, AMD's pricing is far better than Intel's.
They will have to cut the price of their server grade products, their most profitable market. However much they lose this year is going to grow next year if they don't hurry up with new architecture AND they are going to have to sell that new architecture at a more competitive price to get back that share.
