According to our media Russia were going to nuke us about a thousand times now. Hasn't happened. In fact, they say Russia attempted to detonate a nuke the other day. They are absolutely full of s**t. Always remember - MAD. Nuclear war or any sort of thing like that is mad, because it literally is - mutually assured destruction. Russia can run off their gob as much as they like, doesn't change the fact even the UK has enough nuclear weapons to make them a crater.

And their continuous boasting of what weapons they have is equally stupid. Do you see any one else doing that dude? like the U.S? LOL if Russia have what they say they have then you can absolutely bet the U.S has 100 times better and bigger. Because financially they are easily that, and they love their weapons.

Your worries in life should be "Do I need a poo?" "Am I hungry or thirsty?" and "Brown in the back yellow in the front".

Media has nothing to do with it when the ice is melting faster than it should, each summer gets warmer, the global warming is going up and up. That's not media, that's facts lol. Tornadoes, floodings etc, that's not media, that's nature having it's course and that's what I am talking about... That has nothing to do with politics, nukes etc.

Exactly. It is all being blown way out of proportion man. And the thing is? if we go we go, and we will all go together. So there is just no point in even thinking about it.

It's only because it's the "Royal" kit with extra low CL14 timing, You can get a 4133MHz 16GB kit for £130 with CL18, Tighten the timings yourself down to CL16, Maybe even further.

I might have found a use for the DDR5 setup.

I play Anno 1800 and for bigger cities the engine starts to crash. Meaning it cannot handle 2x and 4x speed anymore. With DDR4, double speed was not possible, but now with DDR5 everything is smooth.

I doubt it's the CPU, because either CPU (Threadripper 1920X and now Ryzen 7900X) is hardly being put under load with the game.

But going from DDR4 3200 MHz to now DDR5-6400 MHz seems to have worked wonders.

The problem is that few people play Anno 1800, and even if they do, hardly anybody reaches a level when the game engine starts crashing. So I feel someone within the community might be able to confirm; Unless Tom is prepared to launch Anno 1800 on his rig and retest this. I'll send him a safe-game which does crash the performance quickly.

It seems too much of a problem for testing some small thing.

Well, it's only a matter of time before we start seeing repeatedly instances of things like this happening. DDR5 is definitely a large boost in specifications.
