Does anyone know od a good install guide for the Mach 2 GT?

Am thinking to take the plung but my main concern is the condensation. A good guide would help here.

Thx

I have had condensation on my first installs but never killed any equipment due to it

I find the best way to do it is use a guide and some dialetic grease if you dont want to or dont have dialetic grease then just do the installation slowly take your time and makes sure everything is airtight

Ar fatty this is what I am really bricking it about. I have just got a 57-FX and dont wont to kill her( shes soo pretty).

I dont wont to use that grease stuff and thought that this was not needed with the mach but only with vapo's and pelts.

How about that conformal coating stuff, should I use that on my board?

I use the seal string on the back of the front and back of the board just where the head fits. You will suprised how easy it is as skinny says just take your and you will be fine there is enought stap by step guides out there and also a video!

You will soon be able to whip it on and off in no time baring cleaning up the seal string which seems to pop up all round the house.

Thanks scorchio, that was very helpful, it took em 3 mins to install a mach and then build a comp, very impressive:p

Just jokin, good guide but I think some of the step by step guides are good too. I know what is s'posed to be done, now its just a matter of doing it:eek: . thx.

MACHS sound a lot more scarey than the reality that's presented to you on your first installation.

What are your current system specs my friend?

Mav

Current specs are:

Hardware:

AMD 57-FX.. Why did I say AMD, as if it could have been Intel:rolleyes:

Mushkin redline 4000xp ut 2x512.

Dfi sli-dr (away for an RMA atm).

68GT.

Samsung spinpoint 250gb sata2 hdd.

X-fi xtream music.

Seasonic 600.

Cooling:

Lian li pc75 (silver).

thermo triple rad + Panaflo.

swity 6000 cpu block.

maze 4 gpu.

aqua xtrea 50z pump.

Mcubbed T-balancer(which Is great).

Thats about it guys, nothing to special but those me good in all games, specially the ram, I had some 2x512 corsair xl a while back which stuttered on battlerfield 2 so I switched to crucial ballistix 2x1gb which stoped the stutter but was worst in most other games so I tried the bh5 which are better than both and do not stutter in battlefield 2.:D

You will deffo benefit from mach2 cooling with r507 regas and it's not diffcult to do and you will be well impressed with the result - in fact it's almost a crome not to :D .

Not a bad system there mate - interesting point about BF2 though.

PS: This was all totally off topic but was interesting all the same, sorry for thread jacking.

PPS: Good luck with your RMA.

yeh, iv had alot of issues, mostly due to losing stuff. Its not that bad to do, just annoying when the hex skrews get destroyed!

I've had a Mach, Mach II and a Mach II GT and in all those installs never had a single issue with condensation. You take your time and read and read the guides and you won't have a problem.

It was great but I sold mine to raise cash.

Ignore Justin as he just seems to have the worst luck with hardware :p
