Inno3D launches RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 series graphics cards with "hidden" power cable

Awful design. The amount of times ive sliced my fingers on the cooler vanes while trying to fiddle with tight fitting connectors is crazy.

It isnt exactly hidden either being in plain sight, on the back side of the GPU which is all you can see when slotted to the mobo.

I mean, since you can remove the backplate, it's quite hidden. I guess it's more tailored towards vertical mounting, while also giving SOME asthetic benefits to regular mounting users.

I'd think temps might be a nother concern.

I think you are right, its primarily for vertical users. Maybe I misunderstood the back plate design, but the connector is visible with the backplate anyway from my thinking.
