What do you think about the upcoming Inno 3d GTX TITAN ?
Does it worth it ?
Does it worth it ?
Its a reference design, they are all the same.
Yeah IIRC Nvidia put out strict instructions for board partners to leave it alone. Same with the 690.
I believe he's talking about the one with a 120mm rad, à lá Ares II.
It's nothing like the Ares. The Ares has a double thick rad.
I ran a GTX 480 on an Antec Kuhler (so pretty much the same as this Titan) and the rad used to get so hot you could not touch it.
I would avoid it tbh. I just don't think the cooling solution is enough for Titan.
why would you want a thin 120mm rad on your titan?
whoever got the money to buy a titan (well ofc it's overpriced btw) and doesn't build a custom loop needs to be slapped
Space requirements??Maybe somone runs a h100 for cpu and wants this for their gpu who knows. I agree it should be full water but to each their own I just disagree that this is not capable of cooling a titan
if you buy a $1000 gpu you won't have a tiny $70 case
at least i hope so
I have seen far stranger builds dont say you havnt![]()
I think you should probably have a look at the accelero hybrids cooling performance on last series cards before you write this off completely, It wouldn't be my first choice of cooler but I think it is more than capable of cooling a titan very well considering some end-user results and reviews.Have a google and see if you change your mind on its ability as a cooler![]()
I've looked at reviews. All it is is a copy of what Dwood had been doing for ages with his brackets.
On a GTX 670 or 680 I would say yes, it's a decent cooling solution. But on something as powerful as Titan it's a bit of a waste of time IMO.
As I mentioned before I was more concerned about the heat of the radiator and pump. All that heat can't be good for a tiny little pump and rad and I question its ability in the long term.
As I said I had a 480 on the same cooler pretty much and it got way too hot for my liking. Yes, temps at the core were very good (62c @ 980mhz) but the rad was so hot you could not touch it.
But as been said already if going aftermarket with a titan go water or go home![]()
