Right lets get to the nitty gritty......

recently aqquired a 360 black ice rad and a ek supreme for.........£40! bargain :D

its currently cooling my 940BE and i have no idea were to start on an AMD cpu

im either a sloppy overclocker or just dont understand how to treat an amd cpu!

i've had it running on a 3.8ghz clock for 2 hours......but BC2 decided to bring it too its knee's and crash my system

settings as i can remember were

200x19

1.425 core

1.9 ram

800mhz ram

+0.3 on nb

i was hoping for a nice and tidy 4ghz clock.....but we all know it never gets there that easy!

any help would be appreciated

-Edit

wtf? it posted at that clock and stayed at 100% load for 30 seconds before it failed

(i forgot to change the HT clock in bios to 200 XD)

36c is what hes showing on the software but all 4 core at full load... not often you see that.

low 27c high 36c

AMD's generally are a massive amoutn cooler than its intel rival tbh. Still great temps but I wouldnt say its that unusual
