Evolution going bizzare.
I think one of meh old Amiga cases has a 170 or 240 MEG hard drive in it! (With probably 50% free >.< ) madness.
I`ve gotta do something with the drives I have at the moment, some decisions will have to be made. To be fair, I`ve always looked that financially it`s been a better deal to buy 2 x 60 gig drives than to get 1 x 120, and as far as drive accessing, it`s more beneficial for your pc. Have your OS installed on the one, and if your a gamer, install your games on the other. This just means that whatever your OS/firewalls/etc is/are doing in the background, it doesn`t give your game an excuse to pause whilst heads are switched.
Reason I gotta do something:
Pc4: 1 x 60gig ATA133, in an a PII w/384m(pc133), hosting music which is fine I guess.
Pc3: 1 x 10g ATA133, 3 x 80gig ATA133, 1 x 200g ATA133, 1 x 126gig, in an Athlon SKt A, running @ 1333 on an Abit K7 w/512m(pc133), hosting file storage and some downloading.
Pc2: 1 x 40g ATA133, 1 x 160g SATA, in an Athlon FX2600+ on a K7E w/512m(pc3200) 5200FX MX TX ZT GP MF (whatever), that plays movies and does conversions. (Mobo being cute ala BIOS)
Pc1: 1 x 40g ATA133, 1 x 200g SATA, in a *crappy* Sempron64 2800+ on a *crappy* ASUS AE1 Barebones w/1.5gig(pc3200) ala 6600GT, SBLive etc etc, as a temp game thingy. (Raw end of helping out my nephew when he bought this and screwed up the assembly so I gave him a stable Athlon setup)
Laptop: Acer w/60gig - thats always FULL!!!
I need to ditch the ATAs and the K7s, move completely to SATA, 1G busses, 1G LANs and so on.
Some nice PC will be made out of the balance with some crazy disk space (ATA133 of course
) and maxxed memory seeing as PC3200 is being practically given away atm. Some1 will want it I`m sure.

dont stop, go out and get yourself an emulator.
most games runs just fine and its quite easy to setup too.

The depressing bit is the last time I tried to integrate the pcmcia network into the router I didn`t get very far and it`s back on the floor disconnected.
I`ve been down the emulator route, feels weird.
But I will get around to getting it back into the picture, I will, I will, I must.
