(yes before anybody picks up this isnt my personal results its from college......
Makes sense... Got nearly 10mb at my college once which blew my mind.. Will try at uni next week and see what I get

i am in game and have a radio running, usually the upload is at 1Mbit/s and the download is a tad higher as well, but i can't be bothered to retake the test just to have the most accurate result
tbh i don't really care that much about download and upload, all that matters to me is ping. the downloads might take longer, but i can still play promod/quake with a decent ping, i can deal with that.

Im at about 5Mb/s down and 1Mb/s up at about 40 ping.

Its possible if the server he used speedtest on is in the same datacenter as the target server (or at the same internet exchange)
