It's not, it is 27" diag. So it's even worse. And why would I want to buy a 5k monitor when I already threw a few thousand pounds at 4k lol?

I need this like a hole in my head.

I'm with ya. My 4K panel is holding up just fine. Still too small, but I'm waiting for a decent 34" + option before I buy another one.

My XP tames 4k. Not as well as I wanted it to, but hey it works.

I don't run Wildlands at 4k though. TBH it is probably the first game ever that I just played. And we are now 15 hours into it and the other day my mate does a benchmark and says "Holy crap min 36 FPS max 64 FPS". I ask him what he's doing wrong, he says nothing it's 4k. Then I remembered I had not DSR to 4k and I was hitting min 74 FPS max 120. I maxed out pretty much everything, still getting min 54 FPS max around 90.

And dear lord does it look incrediballs now. Great game, but it gets bloody hard bloody fast tbh.

that's actually not a bad price for what certainly appears to be pretty good specs
Having said that, I do feel that a monitor with freesync with only 60hz @4k is a bit lacking

IIyama make very good monitors imho I am looking at a 27" 2560x1440 IPS monitor they make. I currently use a B2783QSU from them and it's still as good as the day I bought it nearly three years ago

4K needs a minimum of 32" to be useful on the desktop, 5K would need I'm guessing 35"+ ?

I will get a lot of hate for this but... I think that at the moment 4K monitors should be only offered at the top end. Like Eizo ColorEdge, ASUS ProArt and similar. Those are the monitors that are actually needed. Who needs them can pay for them, and use them. For gamers they are a compete waste. You can't get modern games to run at that res with all eyecandy, and you will have much better experience (proper one) with 1440p at 144Hz. Even if we get 144Hz 4K monitors what GPU can run them at that refresh rate. I don't think even new Nvidia cards can do it. So yea.. Compete waste if you are not Prosumer.

I don't want to get into discussion about Apple. I will just say that it is a fashion product, and contrary to popular believes content creators don't use Apple.
