IE8 Beta II Available now.

I tried Beta 1 too, wan't overly impressed with it either. It looked to me like MS are still playing catch-up to Firefox in some areas.

They definately won't get any brownie points if half the developers have to recode their sites though. I think a lot of people downloaded it, browsed a few pages and then pressed the emulate IE 7 button.

didnt try the other beta (not a fan of ms) lol so anyways downloaded this and it seems really clean and fast, coming from a firefox user this is good! ive only had it going for about 45mins so its early days but ill see how it goes.

Remember there are fixes to stop vulnerabilities - and iirc u dont use antivirus either do you? :p

Get yourself some firefox goodness :)

I guess you could say I am overly trusting of Windows. But I haven't had a virus or any other dodgy software take down my systems in years.

Firefox I have tried because everyone here seems to love it but it seemed so heavy and clunky. :)

on the topic of firefox...

when i browse pages in IE and click back, it goes to location of where i clicked the link, yet in firefox it just starts at the top of the page. It's a reet pain in the arse when your browsing a long list and you loose where you got to. Is there an option to turn this on in firefox?

IE has the word "Microsoft" in the name, and that in itself is enough for me to stay away it. :p

Firefox 3 along with Ubuntu for me FTW!
