IDnet problems

Anyone else found their IDnet connections at a crawl today?

I can't get more than 16K/s out of my IDnet ADSLMax line - normally 160K/s !

Idnet FTW! Seriously, I havn't had any outages as of yet and am well impressed with the reliability and speed I've been getting so far !

Good old Mirriam at IDnet is kicking BT for me. Their speed test came back:

Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 100 kbps

Maybe you can tell us how long the OC3D homepage takes to load over 56k

Yay - Miriam @ IDNet set me straight. It was a problem with BT who had locked my line down to minimum speed. Apparently it's not that rare with BT...

Sigh.... Exactly the same problem again this weekend. The speedtest results are:

IP profile for your line is - 135 kbps

DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 5376 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)

Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 97 kbps

Another weekend of 56k for me BT must have it in for me...

They seem to have a habit of dropping my line whenever I'm just getting into a game of CS
